Who really is Danzo?

As we all know in the latest chapter of the manga, Danzo has a sharingan. So who do you think he is?

I think he's either Obito, or he is Danzo and he took someone's sharingan. I don't know if he took Madara's, just because Madara is only showing 1 eye doesn't mean that's his only one. But I think it will all be revealed in a few chapters. Danzo also said something about him and Orochimaru, so he could be using Obito's sharingan. I didn't read Kakashi Gaiden, but I think I heard that Obito's other Sharingan was crushed under a rock (along with half his body) so Orochimaru could have done something to fix the sharingan and give it to Danzo or something.

Well there is no guarantee that he isn't an Uchiha, because he has the Uchiha charateristics. Black hair, little lines the start to grow under the eyes, and a sh*tty attitude. (Well some of them come with the attitude.)

The theory about the eye being Madaras' eye is interesting.

My conclusion is that Danzo is like Kakashi, and has an implanted eye. We know it's not Obitos eye, he was crushed under the boulder. My guess would be that it belongs to either:

1) Madara, reasons for this is that he never shows his other eye.

2) Itachi, since Madara had his eyes and we don't know what he did with them, Sasuke didn't take them, or at least I think he didn't.

3) Fugaku, since he was the head of the Uchiha coup, and it would be ironic for Danzo to take his eye, plus Fugaku was quite strong.

4) Shisui, since Itachi killed him and dumped his body in the river. It would be entirely plausable for Danzo to recover it and take one of the existing eyes.

Other than that, I don't know. We have too little info to go on at this point.

I don't think he is an Uchiha, just has a sharingan eye like Kakashi. If he were an Uchiha wouldn't he have it in both eyes? And if he had it in both eyes there would have been no need to use the eye that was bandaged.

A person in the Uchiha Clan that has the Sharingan should be able to turn it off whenever they want, meaning that they dont have to cover the eye, and since Danzo had his right eye covered until using it, it means that he's not part of the Uchiha Clan.

Well he could be Madara, since when Madara only showed the right part of his face when he took off his mask, and all we ever saw was Danzous left side and they both have Sharingans known in there right eyes. He could just be Danzou and he took a sharingan eye from an Uchiha. But I dont think its Obito.

I believe Danzo has nothing to do with the Akatsuki. When Zetsu was asked why he was helping Sasuke to kill Danzo, he simply replied "he's no friend of ours". This simple statement may seem insignificant, but if Danzo was Madara or if he was allied with the Akatsuki, that would mean Zetsu lied, which Karin would be able to tell and then tell Sasuke that Danzo has something to do with the Akatsuki.

I think the real question is how Sasuke will react when he sees Danzo's Sharingan, because he can't beat Sasuke's Mangekyo with an ordinary Sharingan.
