I Want to Get Into Fairy Tail

I want to get into Fairy Tail. Short & Simple.

I've many good things about it and a lot of bad things about it.

However, I want to give it a chance and be the judge of that.

I don't want an explanation about it I've read a lot about it already. Its like One Piece meets Rave Master meets DBZ meets Naruto mixed in with a lot of fanservice.

Well I'm mainly watching it to see the fights, which I hear are good, and see Lucy's boobs, which are hear are nice.

Im not hyping it up to be an good or great anime just to be enjoyable or to be there so I can be entertained for new manga chapters and anime episodes for Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece to come out.

Am I better off watching the anime or reading the manga or should I wait for it to be by Funi and buy the DVDs(or if it ever airs on TV watch it there)? I feel like I wanna watch the dub and not be too spoiled.

But DAMN I wanna watch it now and since it won't be out on DVDs til Fall, I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Personally I love the series I watched the anime first and then decided to read the manga onwards from where the anime had got up to and the music is amazing. Hope you enjoy it.

I've watched the first 4 episodes and read the first chapter in the manga to see the differences.

A lot of differences.

First chapter was as long as the first episode so I'll compare the the first episode.



The first chapter started off with some guys discussing about how they plan to deal with Fairy Tail(the first episode didn't show that
When Lucy made that sexy pose in the anime and manga the poses were different.
Certain perverted things was removed from the anime like Bora was touching Lucy's bottom to get her Celestial Keys.
When Natsu fought Bora in the manga he fought him inside the ship not outside like in the anime.
Certain special effects like Natsu making that magic fire circle when he uses his attacks nor that dragon effect behind Natsu wasn't in the manga.
Natsu VS Bora was different from the anime than the manga(like Bora never used that Hell Prominence, Prominence Shower, and that giant purple fireball spell in the manga, plus after Natsu hit Bora and his guys with that fire breath attack he then proceeds to beat the crap out Bora and punch every one of his men out of the ship while destroying the ship and he never hit Bora so hard that he flew all the way half way across the town and hit a bell in the manga.
The anime didn't show the knight leader after they rushed to find out about the ruckus.
Those guys plotting to eliminate Fairy Tail were sitting around a table in the manga while in the anime they were standing on a floating spell circle and wearing robes while in the manga they weren't.

Hmmm...NeoGameSpark lied to me. He said the Fairy Tailanime was a cut paste from the manga to me it seems they changed a lot in the first episode just to make it look better than the manga.

My synopsis on the first episode/chapter is that the anime though removed a lot and added a lot of lines and material that weren't in the manga and changed around a lot of stuff, it started on a pretty good start while the manga started on a okay start.

I've watched up to episode 10 and chapter 24 and oh man I've noticed how in the anime they change and add so much(especially in the fights but Natsu VS Erigor remained unchanged or unaltered) prior to the manga.

Also, I watched all the 10 first episodes on the official Funimation website.

Does anybody knows where to watch official subbed episodes of Fairy Tail? The Funimation website only has like the first 10 episodes. I tried Dailymotion but its not working so well and I even tried Crunchyroll but not so well.

If is an illegal site(by this website standards) can you PM me a link?

Funimation is only releasing the first 48 subtitled episodes two at a time on Fridays.

Just made it past the Deliora(is that how its spell) Arc. It was pretty good in the manga but the anime made it much better though.

Damn the more I watch it and hear the music or soundtrack in the series the more it sounds just like Naruto Shippuden's soundtrack. I know the music in both series are composed by the same person but there was soundtrack that sounded exactly like something I heard in NARUTO not Naruto Shippuden the original Naruto and the thing is Naruto was composed by someone else besides the person who did FT and NS.

Opinions I don't put much thought into music. Even if I did I would say that FT and NS are pretty much tied since they sound almost identical but FT has an more Irish and medieval feel to it while NS has an more Japanese and foklore theme to it.

The only Fairy Tail games have been for the PSP and FT has yet to air outside of Japan.

Pfffttt I don't say the DS bc its well pointless the DS is about to fall into the cracks as outdated bc of the 3DS.

The PSP still got a good year of popularity and use left on it.
