Will be released like a kracken on July 12th.
Who else is balls-to-walls excited about this? :D
Okay, maybe only me, but I heat A Game of Thrones hit number one on the New York Times best seller list, so some of you must be reading these books now.
I almost want to reread the entire Song of Fire and Ice series again before I start this, but sadly my books are in storage. I will just replay the books in me head. ;)

Jerks. I bet I could at least get Kingsnoke to reply to this. I blame him no one is here. >.>

I'm debating whether to read the series. I want to read it, but I also don't want to spoil the show or ruin my current view of the show.

Ahh, well you could watch each season and read the book afterward. I found being shock in the books was probably as good as being shocked in the show. You differently get more details from the books.
Still,
Ned's death
probably was an amazing ;););) moment when seen on TV.
I would read the books. Appreciated the series after.

Only problem is that if I read the first book I know I won't be able to stop myself from reading the next one right away, lol

Ahh, that would be problematic. I would go with the books. The show is just the icing.
