How did Orochimaru ditch Anko?

I agree with this statement partially. Basically, she learned that her beloved sempai was going down a path of darkness. And she was very afraid. Although he experimented on her and she survived the curse mark, Orochimaru gave her a choice to leave with or without him. the episodes obout Anko prove that after she did in fact choose to leave Orochimaru, he had no choice but to erase her memory.
