actually he was not struggling, he was distracted because his team got caught in the water dome. he was doing very well. he even managed to take Kisame's sword away with ease. having 30% chakra does not affect your Tai-Jutsu abilities. plus Neji said it himself that he had never seen anyone with such large amount of chakra other than naruto. Guy sensi is already in a disadvantage and also he is surrounded by water;..... KISAME'S TUFF.

If Guy enters 7th gate Kisame is dead. When he entered 6th gate his chakra was pushing tons of gallons of water back 7th gate should be able to do the same to water dome.

This is chakra, mind you. They did not specify if it was equal to movement or Taijutsu feats.

However, if base Guy can handle Kisame I don't see why 7th Gate Guy couldn't kill Kisame, especially considering he doesn't have Samehada to absorb attacks, or to drain Guy's chakra.

Without Samehada, Kisame cannot Water Dome. He needs to fuse with the Samehada to move in the water faster than his opponents and also to breathe.

Guy Kills him in Dome anyway, being Kisame cannot water clone in dome to distract Guy, I.E. Morning Peacock.

And when he does that, a huge shockwave either obliterates the water dome entirely or protects Gai from any harm, assuming Kisame's close, vaporizes him. Then Kisame gets his head kicked off, and last I checked he can't regenerate from a decapitation.

How is he supposed to make a clone and get behind Gai when they're looking right at each other? Because Gai totally can't keep up with a clone and the real Kisame running around him when he's uh, sort of trying to kill him?
