Knowledge: Tsunade knows only that Kushina's a Jinchuriki. Kushina knows Tsunade's skills, but doesn't know what Katsuyu can do.

Have we even seen Kushina fight? All I remember was her using chakra chains on the kyuubi

Can Kushina use chakra chains on people? If I recall correctly, they said her chakra was 'special' in that it could restrain the Kyubi or something like that, which is why she could use the chains on it. If she can't use the chains on Tsunade, she can't do anything. We know that she had a similar ninjutsu style to Naruto and that she could use seals, but what they actually were, are up to our imagination.

kushina's powers are unknown. All that is known is that she used firestyle ninjitsu

Kushina's speed advantage is obvious...Considering the fact that, even in a considerably weakened state, she was able to jump in between Kyuubi and Naruto.
The only problem is whether she has it in her to do any significant damage to Tsunade who has quite high level of durability.
This should go to Tsunade only because Kushina has not shown any offensive abilities.

Really? I must be reading the wrong manga, because I've never seen Kushina use fire style ninjutsu, or anyone mention that she has a Fire natured chakra.
Lol really where did you hear that from?

Kushina never showed the ability to use elemental jutsu. She's nicknamed the Red Pepper because of her personality, not because of fire jutsu.
I'm wondering why she's so high up on the official tier list when she's never been said to be good at ninjutsu, to control the Kyubi, willingly use it's chakra, or even if her chakra chains can restrain other people like Kuromaki said.

kushina stomps, we know by hype that she had incredible powers and we caught a short glimpse of the power of the uzamaki clan plus shes a jinchuuriki

Feats > Hype
By feats, Tsunade would obliterate Kushina. End of story.

I asked in another thread, but I'll say it again.
What hype does Kushina have at all? I'm baffled as to why people think she's so strong.
She's never been said to have ANY control over the Kyubi so factor him out. She can't even willingly use his chakra like Yugito Nii.
She's never been said to be good at any jutsu. The only notable ability she has is her chakra chains, though they are powerful.
The power of the Uzumaki clan? They can live long...that's their "kekkai genkai" if anything.
Nagato had the Rinnegan, Naruto can control the Kyubi and has Sage Mode. Not everyone in the Uzumaki clan can do this.

Maybe she should be kicked off the list altogether, until she shows something other than chakra chains which might not even work on anyone other than the Kyubi. There is too little known about Kushina to rank her accurately.

I agree. I tried pointing this out in the tier thread, but haven't got a response.
I guess people just assumed she was so powerful because her chains can hold down the Kyubi. The story only said that she has special chakra that would make her fit to be a Jinchuriki. That's it. No hype at all.

No, that is not always true. I once created thread Minato vs Pain. When Minato got new feats I created the thread again. In first thread, Pain was the winner, while in the second one it was Minato.
In both cases winner should be the same, which didn`t happen. This means winner is not consistent.
Besides, what would you do in thread Konohamaru Pre-Time Skip vs 1st Mizukage?!! :D

I proved feats can be deceiving and should not always be trusted. If that was your point, then I agree!!! :D

Your claim does not make sense. Pain won your first thread due to Minato lacking feats to compete with a character with many feats. Minato, at one point, was purely hype. And as I stated prior, Feats > Hype. Once Minato gained feats, he then stood a chance against Pain due to these new found feats. That has nothing to do with feats being deceiving, although they are contradictory at times. Winners are never constant as long as we are presented with new feats. For a long time, we believed Raikage was the fastest active character in Naruto. Only two chapters ago was Naruto confirmed as the fastest active character in the series. As long as feats change, so will the outcomes of battles.

By feats, Konohamaru Pre-Time Skip is stronger than 1st Mizukage. This is fatal error you encounter if relying only on feats!!! :D

How? Mizukage can spit lava and create acid that corroded Susano'o bones. Konohamaru could barely do a Transformation Jutsu and sucked at the hiding techniques that utilized the sheets and boxes.

she was feared as the bloody habenero and she is bloodlusted which means immidiate kyuubi chakra if not she can control the kyuubi

He meant the FIRST Mizukage, not the current one. Simple mistake.

......She was known as the Red Hot-Blooded Habanero because she beat up some boys before they hit puberty. It refers to her personality anyways......
It's like you ignored my post and simply stated what you believed again.
Please show me where in the manga that states Kushina has ANY control over the Kyubi. I'll save the work for you, NOWHERE. She can't willingly use the Kyubi to help her. Why do so many people think this?
Bloodlust doesn't necessarily mean instant Kyubi. Many formidable characters would be able to beat Kushina before she completely becomes under the influence of the Kyubi. She's even been said to bad at typical ninjutsu.

I never stated I relied solely on feats. I stated feats are greater than hype, which is generally true. Nonetheless, there are exceptions to the rule. By feats, Konohamaru is stronger than the First Mizukage because he lacks feats. However, utilizing logic, we know the First Mizukage is inevitably stronger than Konohamaru. He was a Kage after all. The same logic applies to the Sage of the Six Paths, considering dude created the Shinobi World. Feats are legitimate abilities and techniques presented to us through the author. Hype is speculated or assumed abilities and techniques not yet shown. Feats are solid evidence, while hype is assumptions without backing proof. Hype is fine if you can logically prove you are correct without someone disproving your claims with liable feats or better executed claims.
